From all our knowledge and research, we’ve developed a prototype website dedicated to making our homes perform better - the HomeSmarts website

HomeSmarts gives people individualised advice on how to make their home warmer, healthier, cheaper to run and kinder to the environment.  It’s a quick,  easy way to find how a particular home measures up to recommended standards and what simple steps you can take to improve your home.

You can choose to:

• Take a smart home tour
  You can take a quick tour of a smart home and compare rooms in your own home with recommended standards.

• Have a home health check
  Is your home comfortable and healthy to live in?  Is it costing your more to run that it should?  The Home Health Check is a quick, easy-to-use tool to help you identify ways to reduce your energy and water bills, and make your home warmer, drier, healthier,  more comfortable, and cheaper to run - as well as being kinder to the environment. 

• Get advice
  Get advice specific to your needs,  home and budget.  In this section, you can get help with fixing a problem or dealing with a project such as designing a new home or renovation.

• Generate a HomeSmart Renovation plan
  Complete a HomeSmart assessment and get an initial Renovation Plan on how you can improve your home

The HomeSmarts website is still in a prototype stage.  As our HomeSmart Renovation project and other research projects produce results, they are informing the information lying behind the website.
