Target 1
Identify a minimum healthy homes threshold and decrease the number of homes falling below that threshold by 90%, thus improve the quality of life through improved comfort and health
Our research will answer the questions:
- What benchmarks that adequately describe a high standard of Indoor Environment Quality (and don’t compromise energy benchmarks) within the HSS High Standard of Sustainability®?
- What technical solutions to problems of ventilation and control at source will improve a home’s indoor environment quality?
- What is the value (particularly in health) of a HSS High Standard of Sustainability® in Indoor Environment Quality to different stakeholders and how can that understanding build to a convincing case for change for different stakeholders?
- What type of information and tools are needed to catalyse change within the different stakeholder groups and how are these tools best presented to achieve mass change?
