The best possible energy renovation packages
The house types and survey information feed into the output of the energy retrofit research – a set of energy renovation packages, tailored to house types and attractive to different homeowners. These packages will renovate homes to Beacon’s HSS High Standard of Sustainability® with the best standards of insulation, energy efficient water and space heating, energy efficient lighting, water efficiency and solutions to improve the indoor environmental quality.
The packages will be trialled in the HomeSmart Renovations project where monitoring of each home’s before and after performance will indicate what interventions are needed to improve a home’s performance in line with Beacon’s HSS High Standard of Sustainability® benchmarks.
